Decorate with Tea & Make
Esther has designed some gorgeous paper chains which we'll naturally be covering The Honor Oak in on Saturday but if you'd like to make some yourself (as a Tea & Make Christmas pressie from us to you), simply go to the Tea & Make website www.teaandmake.co.uk and download, print, cut out, stick and hang!

Roddy & Ginger - gorgeousness at T&M
Fellow South East Londoner Virginia Armstrong and her lovely company Roddy & Ginger will be joining us for the first time at the Christmas Tea & Make. Everything is made by hand in their SE London studio and has a very special, sophisticated retro feel. Choose from cushions to tea towels and aprons, all hand-printed using only water-based dyes, or from prints to greetings cards, individually screen-printed in limited edition runs.
The generously-sized stockings below are available either in white (as shown) or a rather beautiful natural linen...

Sara Tierney at Tea & Make - not long now!
The rather clever and multi-talented Sara Tierney will be joining us again at the Christmas Tea & Make - and this time she'll be armed with more than just her gorgeous lino-prints of natural, organic forms. There'll be felt and paper-cut silhouettes (order a bespoke one of a friend or member of your family whilst you can - it's a must-have Christmas gift), handmade blanket-stitched felt tree decorations, recycled applique T-shirts and more! Looky here...

Jazz at Tea & Make. Nice...
Jazz singer Kamala Katbamna will be treating Tea & Make to her powerful, rich vocals; with special guests Darragh Kilroy on keys and Andy Evans on bass. Come and join us from 5pm to enjoy their music as we switch on the Christmas Tree lights and decorate the tree!
Kamala has been descibed as having "showy sparkle"; as bringing "refreshing new interpretations of standards, transporting audiences back to foregone eras with her powerful, rich voice"; and as being "a talented and empathetic singer with a beautiful timbre to her voice".

Crackin' Crafty Crackers at LauraLaura
The most perfect "tree present" (as we call them in our house) or stocking filler for 2009 has to be these rather fabulous Christmas crackers by LauraLaura. These are the festive treats that they promised to unveil to us a little while back - cleverly crafted from recycled materials, if you are brave enough to pull yours, you will find a traditional paper hat, obligatory joke, and a pair of lovely LauraLaura button earrings inside...

New BFR Mag - screenprinted loveliness
We're really looking forward to meeting the young and talented Barbara Ryan (Rob Ryan jr) at Tea & Make - the new and 13th issue of her BFR Mag is out, and as much as we love the proper photocopied quality of her zines in the past, she's gone for screenprinted this time around and it looks rather nice...

Cup of Sea at Tea & Make
After all of the rushing around at our first Tea & Make, I (Sally) never did have a really good look at all of the stalls properly - and that's kind of half of the indulgent point of Tea & Make really if we're honest! It's a collective of designers whose pieces we really love all in one place for us (and lots of other people) to coo over and spend all of our pennies on! One of the stalls I'd like to have a proper look at at the Christmas event is Cup Of Sea - I love the colours on their Lightning and Clouds Acrylic Rings and at just $8 on Etsy it's a pretty bargainous piece of "ring candy" as Cup of Sea founder and designer Leese Johnstone calls it.

Meeting Paul Farrell over cognac cocktails
We went along to the bouf.com party in Leicester Square tonight and met Tea & Make exhibitor Paul Farrell for the first time - showcasing some of his gorgeous new bag colours, we were very impressed and really pleased he's looking forward to T&M so much!

On the home stretch
We met at The Honor Oak this morning to finalise the details for the Christmas Tea & Make (followed by a huge lunch - it was just too tempting!) The pub looked great with the flyers dotted around :)

Wife of Brian
They're kinda crazy but we love them - Vicky Eames' little company Wife of Brian creates knitted and crocheted beards, moustaches, gloves with eyebrows and eyes, and our favourites, crocheted beard brooches - totally random but handmade and lovely! Buy your own hand-crafted facial hair at Christmas Tea & Make...
